Pearl Verna Mills (nee Wuerch)

Pearl Verna Mills (nee Wuerch) peacefully entered the presence of Jesus, her Lord and Saviour on October 5th, 2022 at 89 years of age, with family by her side. She was married for 71 years to Keith Mills (September 2022).

Pearl is the devoted and cherished mother of three boys: Gary & Helen Mills, Ron & Nancy Mills, and Wayne & Renee Mills.

She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of 11 grandchildren in whose lives she invested spiritually and especially in the giving of her time: Lori & Todd Shepperd, T.J. Mills, Aaron & Anne Mills, Desiree & Zach Steeves, Joshua & Janet Mills, Matthew & Becky Mills, Katie & Bill Crawford, Sabrina & Mike Maulucci, Ryan & Faith Mills, Michelle Bural, Darryn Mills, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Pearl is predeceased by her parents William and Natalie (nee Rattai) and her siblings Lawrence, Harvey, Elsie (Bob), and Harry (Joan). She is survived by her brothers Raymond (Phyllis), Bill (Ann 2022), Art (Mary Ann) and her sister-in-law Shirley.

She was a faithful woman of God, given to much prayer. We three sons, and our respective families could never repay her for the sacrifices she made for us, except that we live for the Lord; which was her greatest desire.

Cremation has taken place, and Pearl will be remembered in a private family celebration of life.

Well Grandma, You are Home!! I cannot begin to tell you what you've meant to me in my life. I don't have enough time. You know. You have poured into my life more than I can ever repay and I will forever Thank the Lord for giving my a Grandma like you. Pearl was a beautiful woman of God! My husband and I had the privilege of working closely with her and her husband Keith for many years at WCF. Faithful, trustworthy, godly, gracious, kind and patient are a few of the character traits we saw in her. She was always very encouraging to young believers and she always had a kind word to say to everyone.
We are very grateful to have known her!

What an amazing homecoming Pearl is having! What a Thanksgiving celebration!! Pearl was a joyful, faithful woman of God that I had the privilege of knowing. She impacted the lives she was around! Well done though good and faithful servant!

John and I want to express our deepest sympathy on the passing of your dear mom. She was a sweet woman and was always smiling. In recent years we would see her at Parkwood Church. Her and your dad would often speak to us. I always felt like she was somehow related to us. I knew several people that both your mom and dad were related to.
