Peacefully on Monday November 7th 2022 at Brampton Civic Hospital with family at his side.
Terry was born in Sarnia in 1941 and grew up on the family farm in Mandaumin with his parents Bud and Marion Ellwood and brothers David, John and sister Elizabeth (Wannacott). He attended Northern Collegiate, Western University and London Teacher’s College. Terry’s love of music took him to Tillsonburg in 1966 where he started the Music program for grades 7 and 8 at Maple Lane Public School and he continued to teach music there until he retired.
He was a teacher, a brother, a friend, a grandfather and a loving father. He enjoyed spending time with his children Kristen and Sean Ellwood and Megan and Jennifer Richardson. Terry will be so missed by them, his grandchildren and his dear friends.
A celebration of life is planned for a later date.
