About us

Cremation Alternatives is an independently owned Cremation Transfer Service (not affiliated with a funeral home or cemetery). Cremation Alternatives will oversee all aspects of cremation, ensuring that your needs are addressed in a compassionate, professional manner. Cremation Alternatives is not a funeral home so it is able to offer dignified services at a reasonable price. Your options are fully explained and your questions are answered honestly.

We are independent, not funded by any large companies or corporations.

Cremation Alternatives assures all customers that we operate under all safety protocols as outlined by Public Health and fully comply with all requirements of our governing body, the Bereavement Authority of Ontario.

Simple & Affordable

Our simple approach to business can make end of life planning a much more affordable option than traditional full-service funeral arrangements.

All fees are clearly explained. There are no hidden costs and you will never be pressured to buy.

Dignified

We serve all faith traditions.

Many families choose to arrange a service or celebration of life directly with their church, community centre or a local reception facility. Although we do not provide co-ordination services for this portion of your arrangements, we welcome any questions you may have as it relates to the end of life arrangements we provide for you. ​

Service available across most of Ontario

Cremation Alternatives offers cremation services across most of Ontario.

Arrangements are available online, by telephone or in-person in the comfort of your home or at a public meeting place at your request. 

No matter where you live, we make end of life arrangements easy. Whether it’s online, over the phone, or in person, we take care of everything.

There is no mileage charge for services within South Western Ontario. Please inquire about potential charges outside of this area as circumstances can vary.
