Léon Haydé Megens

After a long, brave battle with Multiple Sclerosis, Léon finally gained the rest he so deserved. He passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital, with his Mom holding his hand.

It was hard to let him go, but there was no hope left this time.

Léon is survived by his father Edo, his mother Christine (and husband Wayne), and his sisters Angélique (and husband Mel) and Jeanne Marie (and husband Brandon), as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews in the Netherlands.

Léon has been cremated, and his ashes will be scattered on his sister’s farm in Delta, Ontario.

A celebration of life will be held privately, and a Mass will be said for the repose of his soul at St George Catholic Church in London, Ontario.

Messages and condolences may be left at www.cremationalternatives.com. Please visit Léon's obituary notice on Facebook.
